Tuna Thursday: What My Cats Did While I Was at ComicCon2011!

Beethoven turns the ComicCon2011 bag into his new hiding spot!

Welcome to Tuna Thursday! Today is a special ComicCon2011 edition where I write about what my three cats (Oreo, Beethoven and Charlotte) did while I was gone all weekend in San Diego.

Turns out they really partied it up with Ginger, our catsitter! :) Ginger is also a certified RVT (registered veterinary technician) at an animal hospital. Our catsitter is WONDERFUL. She’s super smart and incredibly compassionate and very responsible. I also heart our catsitter Ginger because she is a trained vet tech who can also keep an eye on our cats’ health while we are gone.

While I was at ComicCon, Ginger texted me every day with photos and daily reports. Turns out my cats were quite the handful!

It was a busy few days filled with long lines, endless shuttle rides, and lots of Band-Aids for my aching feet, but it was worth it!

Welcome to Music Monday! I took a week vacation from blogging last week because I was busy at COMIC CON 2011 in San Diego for our show EUREKA (Mondays 8 PM SyFy). Hello! I usually post a daily blog schedule of Music Monday, TV Tuesday, Writer Wednesday, Tuna Thursday, and Foodie Friday. But this week is different. I’m on a blog vacation because I’ll be with the writing staff of SyFy’s EUREKA this week at the annual COMICCON in San Diego!

We have a EUREKA panel on Friday July 22nd at ComicCon from 3 to 4 PM. We also have a EUREKA screening that evening at 9 PM with HAVEN and THE MERCURY MEN. And don’t forget to stop by our CAFE DIEM at the Hard Rock Hotel!

Foodie Friday: Eureka Good Eats!

Welcome to Cafe Diem!

Welcome to FOODIE FRIDAY! In honor of our EUREKA Season 4.5 debut this week on SyFy, all my blogs this week were Eureka-related. I am a producer on the show EUREKA, which airs on SyFy. I started as a Co-Producer for Seasons 4.0 and 4.5, and I’m currently a Producer for our 5th season. Because our EUREKA’s Season 4.5 debuts this week, I’ve decided to devote an entire week to Eureka-themed blogs.

Our show’s Season 4.5 premiered on Monday July 11, 2011 on SyFy at 8 PM, followed by WAREHOUSE 13 and ALPHAS. It’s a great night of science fiction on Monday nights, so definitely hang out with us every Monday night!

Today’s final Eureka-centric blog focuses on all the food I ate when I was on our set in Vancouver. These pictures were taken from my trip to Vancouver for the filming of my episode 405, the Eureka/Warehouse 13 crossover episode “CROSSING OVER.”

Today’s weekly TUNA THURSDAY blog is always about my cats Oreo, Beethoven, and Charlotte. Hi, my name is Paula and I’m a cat-aholic. :) It has been six days since my last cat blog. :P

So today, I present to you an all-cat version of EUREKA called PURR-REKA! The title is inspired by a fellow Eureka writer /Co-EP whose family jokes about a cat version of Eureka called PURR-REKA! LOL! :) It stars Sheriff Oreo dealing with two new troublesome scientists Beethoven and Charlotte whose tuna detector array is set at a frequency that interferes with the electromagnetic shield that protects the town of EUREKA and GD from the general public. If Sheriff Oreo doesn’t save the day, all the tuna in Eureka will be destroyed! :)

You get a chance to really live inside our characters’ heads and see some favorite characters from past seasons like the quirky Baker Brothers and of course our beloved Taggart pop up in these novels. So when you are chomping at the bit during the six days until the next new EUREKA SyFy episode, you can at least READ about EUREKA! :)
