Well, writing a novel while working full-time is tough. I've been writing from home for the past year or so, and it's been weird to readjust to a full-time job in TV while also juggling the book writing "stuff." However, I find that writing while working full-time can be advantageous - free time is precious, so you find yourself really budgeting your time wisely and not procrastinating as much.

My goals for Day 3: To continue consistently writing at least 1,500 words plus per day. I'm hoping to get to 3,000 to 4,000 words per day, which is actually not that difficult for me because I'm a fast writer and have written that much in the past. But it's hard right now because I'm balancing this with a full-time job and a pretty time-consuming commute, so I figure, baby steps for now!

I'll report how Day 3 goes tomorrow. Until then, here's a Day 2 recap. (Do you get how my blogs are structured? It's a bit confusing, but it's the easiest way for me to keep track of my daily blogging! LOL!)

Day 2 Report:  For Day 2, I wrote another 1,706 words. I was surprised by how it "flowed" - the majority of the tone and voice felt so natural early this morning. I was on a "roll" and wished I could have continued writing instead of leaving for work! But I figure, slow and steady wins the race! So far, I have a total of 3,206 words out of the 50,000 required minimum!

I also asked a question for Day 2 but no one tweeted a response, so I'll keep it as a question for Day 3 as well. The question is: Are you writing an adult or YA novel?
