Tuna Thursday: My New House Alarm!

Tuna Thursday: My New House Alarm!

Happy Tuna Thursday from (L-R): Beethoven, Oreo & Charlotte!

Welcome to my inaugural TUNA THURSDAY blog. In a nutshell, I am a Crazy Cat Lady. I own three wonderful, quirky, loveable cats. There’s Oreo, the oldest cat. He is approximately six years old. He is a stray that I adopted back in 2008. He now has his own Twitter feed (@oreothecatyoo). We then adopted two siblings, Beethoven and Charlotte, who just turned one year old.

Every Thursday, I’m just going to post a really cute picture of my cats or some picture gallery story about their little adventures. For today’s Tuna Thursday, I discovered recently that my cats make for an excellent house alarm system! Behold the evidence below…

(Keep reading after the jump for the photographic evidence of Oreo, Beethoven, and Charlotte protecting our house from an intruder!)

THE 2011 HOME CAT ALARM SYSTEM

Oh noes! A strange cat approaches our domain!

Who are you, strange kitty?

We will stare at each other for a long time to assess the intruder situation…

Red Alert! He is not scared of us. We repeat, he is NOT scared of us! Engage LOUD YOWL systems!

YOWL systems engaged! Our tactics work! The intruder has left the building! Victory is ours!

I hope you enjoyed my first TUNA THURSDAY blog. Stay tuned for future cat blogs… and maybe OREO might write a blog, too! You can also follow him on Twitter here: @oreothecatyoo Until the next Tuna Thursday, Happy Writing! WRITE LIKE YOU MEAN IT 🙂

Beware of letting Oreo write a blog. That rascal will take over! Knowing him, he’ll even try to snag some extra days.

So much fun to revisit their Intruder Alert experience.

Love reading about your kitties! 😀

Cats are my favorite pets!! I may have to set my iPhone alarm to go off on Thursdays to make sure I never miss your Tuna Thursday posts and the continuing antics of your kitties. I follow Oreo on Twitter, but I’m on there so seldom that I don’t usually catch his tweets.

One day, you’ll have to tell us the story of the cones on the cats (or was that after having The Operation?).

Awww tnx! My cats say meow. I promise future blogs on their histories, that’s a great suggestion! Thanks! 🙂
